Alkaline came from the desire to make beautiful things with minimal negative impact.

We use European sourced GOTS* certified organic fabrics as well as second-hand and vintage fabrics to make one of a kind textiles and give forgotten things a new life.

Each piece is hand dyed with plants, minerals and earth pigments in our small studio in The Netherlands and goes through a slow and mindful process to become what it is - a truly unique product that we hope will inspire people to treasure the things they own.
